Meeting World Kickboxing Champion Iron Mike Zambidis

In 2016 I travelled to Athens, Greece and had the opportunity to visit World Kickboxing Champion Iron Mike Zambidis at his gym, the Zambidis Club.

Here is a Q&A about my experience.

Q. What took you to Greece?

Vickie: To train with the best, but also to train under a different instructor and different training methods.

Q. What he was Mike Zambidis like?

Vickie: I didn't get the opportunity to train with Mike, but I did have the opportunity to work with him and of course take a photo.

Q. How he has Mike Zambidis inspired you? 

Vickie: His Greek heritage, he is a hardworker, determined, and excels at what he does.
