Overcoming mental challenges

The last few months have been quite challenging and as a result I needed some time, time to just lie on my couch and do nothing, because the mind and body were exhausted, which is exactly what I did!

Thankfully, I'm quite resilient and after some time to reset, I'm was back in the game!

However, there is one thing that I do believe helped me to get up, dust off and fight another day, and that's being grateful for everything in my life. I have followed this ritual since March this year, and have found it so helpful, because be it a good day or bad day, there's always something to be grateful for!!!

In fact, these days before I get out of bed, I pray that today is going to be a good day and for the most part it is, nothing's perfect.

But I'm not saying you have to pray, it's more about the mindset. I woke up and decided today was going to be a good day, no matter what!

A positive mindset will equal a positive day, but it's your choice whether you want to be happy or sad Don't let a bad situation determine the rest of your day/week etc. Always fight for what you want!

Why is it relevant? Because we need to build the skills to combat challenges and one of the best ways of doing that is through challenging yourself, pushing yourself till there's nothing left.

Tips for overcoming challenges. Find a great support network. Ask yourself, is it going to matter in 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months. You will get through this, just take it one step at a time.
